This morning I was woken by a stream of glorious light coming through my bedroom window. It felt like summer as I lay and let the rays warm my skin. I rushed out (at which point I discovered it wasn't actually summer and instead it was rather bloody cold) to buy props to take pictures of in my new "natural light" bedroom studio...came back with love hearts, flowers and a cup cake (?!), then spent the next hour or so chasing the sun around the house and it darted between the rooms (to much amusement). Nothing outstanding was produced but the light was lovely, I wish I could bottle it!

Google "What the water gave me" by Frida Kahlo. I think it will remind you a photo you once took.

Thanks Mark! When I took the photo I never made the link!! I blogged about it here at the time after a few comments:

I guess I am way behind the curve. I saw Frida's painting yesterday in a book my brother gave me, about her affair with photographer Nickolas Muray. About a year ago, I was scrolling randomly through blogs, checking out styles (before I started my own travel blog), and came across your photo. And so, her painting reminded my of your photo, and not vice versa, which is a compliment! --Mark
